WHAT IS EDMODO?

What is Edmodo?

Edmodo is a classroom management tool and social network specially designed for teacher-student-parents, where teachers can make group invitations to their students, write messages to them, create quizzes, and share course documents, and are designed for a strong security setting.

What can be done with Edmodo?

Activities can be made by creating different structures in the classroom with small groups.

File and folder sharing can be done.

The deadline for the assignments, surveys and quizzes can be determined.

There is the possibility of messaging with different users.

Announcements can be made to the students.

It can be used not only for educational purposes but also for social networking.

Parents can follow their students if they wish.

Homework can be given to students. The deadline can be determined. Grades can be given to the students who submit their homework. Grade point average of the assignments can be seen.

Quizzes are available for students. According to the answers, students' scores can be seen.

Surveys can be made to students. A democratic class environment can be created through surveys.

By creating small groups, activities and tasks can be assigned to a specific group of students in a classroom.

We used the Edmodo application in our Introduction to Education course and writing lessons. We were uploading my assignments to Edmodo so that our teacher could see everyone's work quickly. Quite fast and practical application.

E-LEARNING MOODLE
